Fran Bundey

Hello! I am Fran Bundey and I'm a Leeds based sound artist and voice over artist.

With my sound art I aim to inhabit the grey space between music and art. I create sound pieces made using a mix of field recordings and archive footage. I use my editing software to explore how I can re-frame landscapes and sounds, to delve into a place's history and imagine their future. I received the Developing Your Creative Practice grant from the Arts Council in 2023 which has enabled me to further develop my recording and editing skills, this has most recently led me to a commissioned piece as part of Leeds' Light Night.  Take a look at my sound art portfolio here.

My creative background as a performer and artist means I am big on engaging storytelling for voiceovers. I have a professional home studio and can deliver reliable voiceovers with a quick turnaround to help you get your vision across to your audiences.  My voice can be described as soothing, gentle and down to earth. But my performance background means I can be versatile and change up the energy, accent or character where necessary. I have a light Leeds/Northern accent which can be turned up or down.
